Inspired by the Natural History Museum’s ‘Nature Overheard’. 
This is a mass community science project investigating the impact of  noise pollution on insects near roads.
Insects are important for a healthy environment, but noise can make it hard for them to communicate with each other. They may have to change their sounds to be heard in noisy places.

Down in the meadow
Where you cannot see
Is the home of a mystical band
High in the summer you can hear them great their fans
Here in the hollows where the grass is sweet

The old Mumma Hummers
Are gigging in the sand
