Thought it would be a good time to update everyone in terms of all the different kid’s audiobook platforms, players, and places where you can discover Rockford’s Rock Operas stories for kids. You can hear all of our audio stories on our website of course, but we do realize that some listeners will want to download from other platforms or use one of the new physical audio players for kids, just as Yoto and Voxblock
The Best Children’s Audiobook Sites and Players
We have just launched on a great new kid’s audio platform called Superfonik. And we’re looking forward to doing lots with them over the coming months.
Whttps://voxblock.co.uk/e’ve also recently launched with VoxBlock, which is a great physical audio player for kids, which puts audiobooks on a lovely card block, hence the name (and VoxBlock works without any connection to the web).
Another children’s audio platform which has now launched Rockford’s Rock Opera’s audio stories is the fantastic Cloudaloud. Cloudaloud is making big inroads in Children’s audio particularly, in education, making children’s audiobook stories available to thousands of secondary schools. As you may know, Rockford’s Rock Opera’s stories are already used extensively in schools around the world, so it’s great to be working with Cloudaloud to bring our adventures in sound and our ecological lesson plans available to more teachers and children.
In addition, apart from the Rockford’s Rock Opera website where you can hear and download all of our stories, we are also available on Yoto, and we’ve really enjoyed seeing their player go from strength to strength over the past year.
It’s been brilliant to see the rise in popularity of children’s audiobooks over the past 10 years especially during which time our unique adventures in sound have welcomed many many thousands of new listeners.
